Exploring design through an adversarial/allied lens

Lately I’ve been thinking about products and product design through a lens of adversarial and allied intent. This lens asks if the thing in question is adversarial or allied to the consumer and, at the same time, if it is adversarial or allied to the business creating it.

Exploring adversarial UX

Do UX professionals uphold the interests of the users as their posture suggest? If UX professionals don’t uphold user interests when hampered by the business interests, UX devolves to becoming Shareholder Experience (SX)
